As the year draws to an end it also marks the one year anniversary of my permanent make up academy in Cheshire.
I am delighted that the first year of business has been a success; I have met some incredible people along the way and trained students from far and wide.
The school caters for small groups of no more than 4 students and we also offer bespoke 1-2-1 training as well.
My academy has all the most up-to-date equipment and all students receive pre-course work, in depth training manuals and starter kits included in the cost of the course.
We are located in the heart of Cheadle Village with easy access to motorways and train stations; we also have hotels nearby for students travelling from outside the area.
The academy has regular hygiene visits from the council and is fully insured and licensed.
The microblading course has really taken off this year and is now by far the most popular course we offer. The course is a 3-day intense course with full support and mentoring long after the students have qualified. During the course the students learn all about blood borne pathogens, hygiene and how to start up their own microblading business. As part of the course the students will get the opportunity to work on live models and must complete case studies after their course before they qualify
The beginners course
The brow design day – Students get to learn 3 different styles of brow patterns, working on hair strokes, on latex, and then moving onto practice heads. They are also taught positioning, 3-way stretch and pressure and the angle of the hand tool.
Our courses are unique; we explain the difference between the style of blades, colour theory and how pigment heals in the skin. Students who attend the course can attend an LI 1 day colour course where they can learn about pigments and colour theory in more depth.
If you are already qualified in permanent make up, we offer a 1-2-1 microblading courses, which is 2 days working on live models and brow design. Each course can be adapted to the students needs.
