LARRA’S donation for a local Charity Event Transform Fashion Show, raising funds for cardiac risk in the young & 1000 Hearts for Harry.
On Thursday 13th October I was invited to attend and exhibit my Permanent Makeup Academy and advertise my new beginner Microblading training courses, I also donated a FREE Microblading Treatment to one lucky winner.
I aim to offer my training once a month, and new dates will also be announced on my website for the 2017 New Year.
I was able to show my new training material and brochure and leaflets which I recently had printed from Prontaprint in Stockport.
The Charity event was hosted by Esther Farrington who worked incredibly hard to make it an fabulous success. The venue at Woodford Community Hall was a complete sell out to the general public and all for an amazing cause. Esther was assisted by a team of lovely friends and local business to ensure lots of money was raised.
The doors opened at 7pm with a show start time of 8pm. Clothes had generously been donated by local shops Boudicca and Sorrella, Hair was done by Nikki Simpson of Deva Hair and Make-up was from a variety of local MUA’s. Entertainment was also provided from Local Talent – Mia Lawrie and Blush Dance. There were local stalls on the night, and some amazing raffle prizes. I was delighted that my Microblading
Treatment got the highest bid too, raising £285 for the charity.
The funds raised will benefit 1000 Hearts for Harry (affiliated with Cardiac Risk in the Young) to purchase defibrillators to be placed throughout our community.
1000 Hearts for Harry was established by Harry’s family – Mario, Debbie and Emily Dubois after Harry tragically passed away from an undiagnosed Heart condition. The charity, in association with CRY, raise money to pay for Heart screening programmes for 1000 young people every year. (www.1000heartsforharry.com)
